“Yall, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making all these videos. My husband is T4-T5 complete para and we are headed to Disneyland to celebrate our 10th anniversary next week. These videos are amazing and informative and saved us a lot of pre-trip anxiety. Thank you and many blessings to you both!!!”

About Imaginary Lemons:

We’re Brooke and Aadam, the duo behind Imaginary Lemons. Together we explore the world, one accessible adventure at a time — sharing the ups, downs, and everything in between so you can travel with confidence.

What began as a way to document our own trips soon became something bigger: a space for honest conversations about accessibility, love, and finding joy in the journey.

We started Imaginary Lemons to create the kind of content we wished existed when we first began traveling with a disability — practical, hopeful, and real. And clearly, there was a need for it.

“I am loving your videos!! … Because of y’all I am starting to believe that I can do it. And that is exciting.”
Amy, wheelchair user

“I have to thank you both so much for making this video. … seeing you being able to get on these rides makes me feel a million times better about making an attempt to go.”
Brad, wheelchair user

“WOW! My child went on her make-a-wish trip last year. We missed so many rides because we did not know they were accessible.”
Tracy, mom of a disabled child

“Honestly can’t emphasize enough how much I value your videos. … I’m so happy I can ride the railroad — it brings back such happy family memories.”
Clare, disabled Disney lover

I Got Sick at Cape May Café | Is It Safe for Food Allergies?

October 11, 2025 10:30 am

We visited **Cape May Café** at Walt Disney World’s Beach Club Resort — known for its seafood buffet. Our goal was to be a little silly and pretend to be food reviewers, like our friends at @glutenfreedairyfreedisney. But after our dinner, Brooke ended up getting sick… so let’s talk about what really happened.

In this honest review, we share our **real experience dining with food allergies** (gluten/wheat and peas) at Disney’s Cape May Café. We cover how the buffet handles allergens, whether the chefs and servers understand dietary needs, and why we *don’t recommend it for people with food allergies.*

We also touch on **accessibility** — from navigating the buffet in a wheelchair to how well the restaurant accommodates disabled guests.

If you or someone you love has food allergies, this is a must-watch before your next Disney trip.

👉 Stay to the end for our honest recommendation: **Would we go back — or avoid it next time?**
